Vignan's University is gearing up for its 11th graduation ceremony on Monday, October 23. The prestigious event will be graced by Central Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as the chief guest. Distinguished guests of honor include Dr. Subbarao Pavuluri, Founder of Ananth Technologies, Hyderabad, and Dr. SP Vasireddy, Executive Chairman of Vimta Labs Limited, Hyderabad, alongside the esteemed Indian chess player and Padma Shri awardee, Koneru Hampi.
Degrees to be Conferred Upon Over 1800 Students
University Vice Chancellor Professor P. Nagabhushan announced that the 11th graduation ceremony will see the conferring of degrees upon more than 1800 deserving students. Additionally, 24 exceptional students displaying exemplary performance in their respective fields will be awarded gold medals. The event will also recognize outstanding achievements with accolades such as the Best Outgoing Student Medal, Endowment Awards, Chairman's Gold Medal, Best NSS, NCC, Social Engagement Award, and Best Leader Medals.
Three Eminent Personalities to Receive Honorary Doctorates
As part of the 11th graduation ceremony festivities, Vignan's University will bestow honorary doctorates upon three distinguished individuals in acknowledgment of their significant contributions across various domains. The recipients of this esteemed honor are Dr. Subbarao Pavuluri, Founder of Ananth Technologies, Hyderabad; Dr. SP Vasireddy, Executive Chairman of Vimta Labs Limited, Hyderabad; and Koneru Hampi, an Indian chess player of international acclaim, holding titles such as Padma Shri and Arjuna Awardee. Dr. Lavu Rathaiah, Head of Vignan’s Educational Institutions, University Vice Chancellor Prof. P. Nagabhushan, Registrar Dr. MS Raghunathan, Deans, Heads, and students from various departments participate in the event.
