Vignan University kicked off its B.Tech first year classes on Monday, welcoming students and their parents from across the state. Dr. Lavu Rathaiah, Chairman of Vignan Educational Institutions, addressed the gathering as the chief guest, emphasizing the importance of a joyful approach to education and development.Dr. Rathaiah extended his gratitude to the parents for choosing Vignan University and congratulated the students on their new journey. He highlighted the success of the Pancha Sutras, a unique program comprising Faculty Development Program, Planning, Training, Communication System, Counseling System, CRT Classes, and Teaching Method, which has propelled many of their alumni to high positions in life. He encouraged parents to support their children holistically, emphasizing the university's focus on physical fitness by awarding credits for it. Dr. Rathaiah stressed the significance of participating in cultural and social activities alongside academics to foster communication and team spirit among students. He urged students to prepare not just for exams but for life, noting that 90 percent of their graduates secure jobs in multinational companies. Dr. Rathaiah also introduced the university's counseling system, where one teacher is assigned to every 20 students to provide continuous monitoring and support, helping to unearth and develop students' hidden talents and personalities. He praised the university's faculty for achieving 100% results by staying updated with the latest technologies. Vice Chancellor Prof. P. Nagabhushan, Registrar Dr. Raghunathan, Deans, Heads of Departments, parents, teaching staff, and students joined the occasion.
